Custom porcelain veneers from a cosmetic dentist a few minutes from Clarkdale. Family practice, free consultations, two-visit process, and same-day emergency appointments when you need them.
Porcelain or composite
Porcelain veneers are lab-fabricated, photograph-natural, stain-resistant, and last 10 to 15 years on average. They cost more upfront and are placed across two visits. Composite veneers are sculpted directly on the tooth in one appointment, cost less, and are reversible, but they pick up stains over the years and typically get replaced every 5 to 7 years.
For most adult Clarkdale patients planning a smile makeover, porcelain is the longer-lasting choice. Composite is a strong fit for younger patients or for fixing a single chipped front tooth where the option to change course later matters.
Are you a candidate?
Veneers do their best work when:
- Your teeth and gums are basically healthy
- There is enough enamel for a clean bond
- You are not a heavy grinder, or you are willing to wear a nightguard
- You have a clear sense of what you want the result to look like
Active decay, gum disease, or a still-growing patient mean we treat those issues first. The screening visit settles whether veneers are a fit or whether something else (a crown, orthodontics, gum work) would serve you better.

Veneers FAQs
How close is the office to Clarkdale?
Most Clarkdale patients reach our office at 5015 Floyd Rd SW in 5 to 8 minutes via Floyd Road or Veterans Memorial Highway.
How long do porcelain veneers last?
Porcelain veneers typically last 10 to 15 years with regular checkups, good home hygiene, and a nightguard if you grind.
Are veneers permanent?
Porcelain veneers are considered a permanent cosmetic procedure because a thin layer of enamel is removed during prep. The veneer can be replaced when it wears out, but the original enamel cannot be restored.
Do veneers ruin natural teeth?
Done properly, no. The 0.5 mm of enamel removed during prep is offset by the protection the veneer provides. Risk comes from poor case planning or untreated underlying issues, which is why screening matters.
How much do veneers cost?
Cost depends on the number of teeth, the material, and any prep work needed first. Every patient leaves the consultation with a written treatment plan and a walk-through of insurance, CareCredit, and the Friends & Family Membership Plan.
Does the practice see whole families for routine care?
Yes. Vibrant Smiles is a family and cosmetic practice. We see children, teens, and adults in the same household, and many of our cosmetic veneer cases start as conversations during routine cleanings.
How long does the veneers process take?
Two appointments, two to three weeks apart. Each visit usually wraps in under 90 minutes.
